Unfortunately, we do not have our own car park, but there is plenty of FREE UNRESTRICTED parking on Ocean Road to the front of the Clifton and on Henry Nelson Street to the side.  There is also a 100-space car park behind Colman’s Restaurant opposite where parking is also free and unrestricted. Parking is on a first come first served basis and be aware that at some times, with the number of restaurants in the area it can be busy.

We are a dog friendly establishment and welcome house trained and well-behaved pets under 30kg.  There is a small supplement of £10 for bringing your pet.  We only accept pets if you book direct with us. This fee covers additional cleaning to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests plus a pest and bug prevention programme. The coffeeshop is also a dog friendly venue so they can accompany you to breakfast.  Please see our dog policy for full details.

As a small establishment we do not have a 24-hour reception desk. Staff are available from 7am – 10pm daily. There are always staff on site so if there are emergencies outside these hours then there is always someone there to assist.

Official check-in is from 3.00pm. Please give us a call to confirm the check-in time if you have booked early check-in.

A late check out can be arranged for a minimal fee.  Please call us to enquire.

An Iron & Ironing board is available to loan free of charge.  Please ask a member of staff. For health & safety reasons they are no longer fitted in rooms.

All of our rooms are equipped with showers. We no longer have any rooms with baths to assist in reducing our carbon footprint and save natural resources.

For Health & Safety reasons we prefer parents to bring their own travel cots with them where practicable. Please let us know in advance such that we can allocate a room which is suitable to accommodate a travel cot.

There are Gluten Free, Vegetarian and vegan alternatives available both on our resident’s breakfast menu and on our coffeeshop menu.  Staff will also be able to provide allergy information on all of our food products on request.

Our rooms are not equipped with fridges as standard. A fridge can be hired for a small fee on request by prior arrangement.

To comply with Food Safety regulations, we are unable to allow access to our microwaves for guest use.  However, we can heat up food on request if required.  Please ask a member of staff on arrival.

We are able to provide secure inside storage space for bicycles. There is a power point to charge electric bikes (fees apply).

  This area is covered by CCTV. Guests are required to bring their own locks to secure their bikes and unfortunately, we are unable to accept any liability to loss or damage to them whilst on the premises.

Yes, you can. We can store luggage to collect later.  Space is subject to availability
