Afternoon tea, that most quintessential of English customs was introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840. Today it remains a popular social event to catch up with Friends and family or celebrate a special occasion. Afternoon tea provides a perfect balance of sweet and savoury treats to tantalise the tastebuds.

Served daily from Midday at The Clifton you can enjoy a Traditional selection of Sandwiches, Scones and Cakes washed down with Tea or coffee if you would prefer.  The Coffeeshop provides a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, ideal to catch up with friends and family.  If you are looking to book for a group of people for a special occasion, why not check out our Library and Lounge Rooms.

The Coffeeshop closes at 2pm on a Sunday, however if you are looking to make a Group booking for an event we do have our Library and Lounge rooms available all day on a Sunday.
