The Library Room

This room provides a relaxed sumptuous space, with soft furnishings and cosy lighting. 

The Library Room is available to book to hold a Special event for residents and non-residents. It’s popular for groups for Afternoon Tea. Whether you are celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary, or Baby Shower, enjoy a traditional selection of savoury and sweet treats. Enjoy the experience with fine china, pick your own background music with access to Amazon Alexa or stream your memorable photos on the 55” Smart TV. Make the celebrant feel special in the Oversized Porters Chair!

It’s perfect for groups up to 16 people.  There is no room hire fee if you order Afternoon Tea. You are welcome to decorate the room on the day of your event if you so wish.  We will be happy to discuss any personal requirements with you to help make your event special.

It is possible to hire out this room for meetings £50 per day.  Food and drink can be purchased from our coffeeshop menu.  If you wish to have a buffet lunch for your meeting, this can be arranged for an additional fee.

The Drawing Room

This is an elegant room with period features and is available to book for private functions. It comfortably holds 22 people with tables and formal chairs.  It can be configured in different ways depending on your requirements. If you require a block table the room will accomodate 16-18 persons. It has a bar and as with the Library Room, you can choose your own music with access to Amazon Alexa.  Please note this is an adult only space.

As with the Library Room, if you are joining us for Afternoon Tea there are no room hire charges.

We are a licensed premises.  We offer a range of bottled beers, cider, Wines, Prosecco and Spirits.
