The Clifton & Exiting Lockdown

Currently we know that the Government is continuing with the lockdown process and that everyone is being urged to stay at home to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus.  However, the media are spectulating how we are going to exit the lockdown and we are expecting some Government comment on the possible strategies to be announced this week.

Looking at other Countries who are a few weeks ahead of us, we can see a cautious and gradual opening of businesses.  There is definately going to be a new normal as we move back into life after lockdown. Here at The Clifton we are looking at strategies and policies to ensure we can move sucessfully forward after this pandemic.

We understand that our customers will take time to be confident enough to travel and to eat out once again and here at The Clifton we will be introducing new measures to ensure that are customers feel safe and protected with us.

We pride ourselves on cleanliness and have been Accredited with a Four Star Silver AccommodationAward from Visit Britain, which includes assessment of cleanliness and hygiene.  We have also been Awarded a 5 Star Food Hygiene/ Safety Rating by the Local Environmental Health.  We are not stopping here though, with our high standards of cleanliness, we will be introducing new rigorous cleaning schedules with a focus on the sanitising and disinfecting of key areas, especially those with high volumes of people.

We will be carrying out extensive training with staff prior to their return on new procedures of working to ensure the safety of our customers. Our focus will be on ensuring that customers feel confident that we are taking all steps possible to ensure they “Feel Safe with Us”

We are also developing lots of other ideas and responding to Government advice and information. We will be publishing updates as we progress.
