The Clifton is a perfect venue to hold a small daytime celebration or event. We have hosted all types of events such as Baby Showers, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Wedding Breakfast Parties and Wakes. But you don’t always need an excuse for a catch up with friends and family, what you do need is a cosy welcoming environment which provides the perfect ambience for your event.  We are a licensed venue and serve a range of bottled beers, wine and spirits.

Here’s an overview of the spaces we have here at The Clifton:

The Library

This room holds up to 16 persons seated. It is furnished with sofas & chairs with a flexible low central table. The room is equipped with an Amazon Alexa, Free Wifi and large TV screen.

The Drawing Room

This is an elegant space which can comfortably accommodate up to 22 people.  It can be configured in different ways to accommodate your needs.  Perfect for Afternoon tea, Baby showers, Birthdays and anniversaries.  It is also a perfect space for small business meetings around a block table for 16 persons.

The Snug

Perfect for up to 6 people. Cozy and compact as the name implies. Small Sofa & chairs. Can be set with dinning tables or without.  TV & fireplace.

The Coffeeshop

It is possible to booked the coffeeshop for private events, it can accommodate about 30 persons. There are some limitations to the times it can be used for events as it is open to the general public.  We are happy to discuss individual needs and requirements.
