Covid-19 Training for All Staff

As part of our Post Covid Strategy, “Feel Safe with Us”, we are creating and revising policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of Staff and customers alike. Here at the Clifton South Shields, our initiative will ensure that you feel confident that we are putting your health and well being at the centre of everthing we do.

We understand that many people will be tentitive about travelling and staying away from home when the lockdown eases and we are permited to enjoy domestic travel for leisure purposes. We have taken advantage of the lockdown to provide some training for our staff. They have completed Prevent Covid-19 training and have all undergone refresher training on Cleaning to a Level 2 National standard.

We have carried out detailed Risk Assessments specific to the Risk of Infection from Covid 19 in all aspects of our business operation. Following all current Government advice and guidance, we are reviewing all work procedures to ensure we minimise the chances of infection.

We hope that soon we will be able to welcome back Leisure Guests to The Clifton Hotel South shields enjoying “staycations”. South Shields has a tremendous Coastline where you can enjoy fresh air, open spaces and stunning scenery.

In the meantime we will continue to work hard to ensure that we are adopting all measures to make your stay with us, comfortable, safe and enjoyable.
