We are pleased to hear the News that a multi-million pound investment by Equinor and SSE Renewables, the two companies behind the world’s biggest offshore wind farm Dogger Bank, at the Port of Tyne was announced on Wednesday, May 13.
This joint venture between the two companies will see an operations and maintenance base constructed at the Port, which is based in South Shields. This is a much needed boost for the area amongst the Covid 19 pandemic.
