On the 8th July Rishi Sunack announced his plan to launch the “Eat Out to Help out” offer. He has indicated that this offer will be available on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday throughout August. You will be able to claim a 50% discount upto a limit of £10 per person on food and non-alcoholic drinks in restaurants, cafes and Bars.
Not only will this be a welcome boost for the hospitality industry, but it will encourage people to dine out once again. Some people may say that this is dangerous and will increase the spread of the Corona virus. However restaurants, Bars and Cafes have invested a great deal of money and time in ensuring that businesses are safe for consumers. The food industry already has strick regulations on cleanliness, hand washing and the safe handling of food, so if anything the industry already has great practices and procedures in place, adding more should just give consumers even more faith in dining out being a safe social activity.
Although we have made changes to comply with regulations surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic, you will see that the environment does not feel alien or uncomfortable. You can be confident we have made the adjustments, but have also made it an environment where you feel welcomed and relaxed.
So we will be registering with the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme when it is launched, You will be able to enjoy everything on our menu at 50% of its normal price. We have already had a great deal of interest in our Afternoon Tea, usually £10 per head, you will be able to enjoy it for £5 per head.
So we will post more details when they are released and we will start taking bookings then.
